One-to-One Coaching

With one-to-one coaching everything is individualised, based on your specific needs and goals. I specialise in improving movement and building sustainable lifestyle habits. You got to where you are today as a result of the habits you have repeated over the course of your life. Replacing these habits with practices that add strength, health and vitality to life is where this coaching really creates positive changes with my clients.

Who is this for?

I work with general population clients primarily, but also some athletic populations looking to improve mobility and strength. I don’t work with people who are looking to reach crazy physique goals. My whole philosophy is based on sustainable coaching. If you can’t practice it long term, I’m not going to teach it. My method takes time because it works and lasts. If you want to learn correct skills in movement, nutrition and lifestyle then one-to-one coaching is the right option for you.

How was this possible?! I had struggled with my weight for the majority of my life, and finally I was my smallest – but I couldn’t change the bottom half of my body. I was struggling with energy and I was always hungry! When I met with Conor my goals were simply, guidance to try something new to hopefully decrease two dress sizes and eat more. Initially I have to say I was scared, as I had come from the mentality that eating less and exercising more was the equation.

My experience with Conor as my coach, exceeded my expectations. Conor educated me with exercise, food and being kind to myself. Even though I thought changing my body was the main thing I wanted from working with Conor, I gained so much MORE. My mindset and relationship with food and exercise changed. I now nourish my body instead of punish it, eating well means I function better.

I sleep better and am kind to my body instead of stressing to get to the gym and restricting my food intake all while having reduced two dress sizes. And finally I am stronger, fitter and healthier than I have ever been in my life and I love that I can do handstand and cartwheels for the first time in my life!

Small Group Training

Small group training is for those happy to work on their own initiative. The two small group training options are GMB and Focused Flexibility. Small group training is limited to six clients ensuring everyone gets attention and can develop strength, flexibility and motor control. Nutritional coaching is available as an add-on. This is a requirement if your goals are fat-loss related.

GMB Fitness

The GMB method is a system based on different elements of martial arts and yoga. The aim of GMB is to develop physical autonomy (building a body that actually serves you). The main attributes we focus on are strength, flexibility and motor control. We then combine these with mindful movement resulting in the end result of physical autonomy.  Sessions last 30-45 minutes and focus on a specific theme each time. The classes mix locomotion based on GMB’s “Elements” program and bodyweight strength training based on the “Integral Strength” program. This class is for you if you want to focus more on strength, movement exploration and creativity.

Focused Flexibility

Focused flexibility combines static and dynamic flexibility drills that work on where the individual needs most attention. This is found through an eight part movement screen. The two weakest areas are then focused on until they improve. I benefited more from six months of focused flexibility than four years of yoga. Why? Because it focuses on the areas that need most attention first based on where I was at. The above photo shows my pancake progress over a six month period. The second photo is a client after an eight week block. Classes last 45-60 minutes along with access to a private Facebook group where each week’s homework is shared in video form so you can follow along.
